MTN Super League champions Power Dynamos return to league action on Saturday when they face Mutondo Stars as the league resumes. Although listed as the home side, Osward Mutapa’s men will be on the road, with Mutondo using Arthur Davies Stadium as their home ground. A victory for Power Dynamos would see the Kitwe giants climb to second place on the league table. Mutondo Stars, on the other hand, will be pushing for only their third win of the season as they look to move away from the relegation zone. Power Dynamos will then turn their attention to midweek action, where they face Green Eagles on Wednesday. Meanwhile, across Kitwe in Wusakile Township, Nkana will host Zesco United in a mouth-watering encounter on Sunday. Nkana’s struggles this season have been alarming, with the 13-time champions managing just one win so far and currently sitting in the drop zone. Both Power Dynamos and Zesco United are playing their Week 15 and 16 fixtures in advance due to their involvement in continental competitions. Power Dynamos will face Kaizer Chiefs in back-to-back CAF Champions League group matches, while Zesco United are set to meet Nigeria’s Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup this month.
