Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club continued their unbeaten run as they recorded another win while Konkola Blades Queens edged Luyando Foundation Girls as YASA Queens edged Nkwazi Queens to end their unbeaten start to the 2025/2026 Eden University Women’s Super League. Record four time Champions, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club continued their fantastic start to the season as their sixth win of the season and maintained their unbeaten run. Agnes Phiri scored the only goal of the game in the 33rd minute from 12 yards to seal maximum points for the Zambia army sponsored outfit. Buffaloes move to 19 points after seven matches and open a five point lead at the summit. At OYDC in an early kick off, Nkwazi Queens suffered their first loss of the season after succumbing to a 2-1 loss at the hands of Stubborn YASA Queens. After a goalless first 45 minutes, the second half came alive with three goals. Harriet Matipa put the hosts in the lead in the 70th minute after an exchange of passes and being set up by Eunice Bwalya. Margaret Chisenga doubled the lead six minutes later from the penalty spot as she stepped up after Matipa was brought down in the box. Anita Nankamba pulled one back for the Zambia Police sponsored outfit but it was a little too late as YASA Queens held on to win the match, 2-1. The win takes YASA Queens to seventh place with 10 points. In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades Queens handed Luyando Foundation Girls their second loss of the season as they came from a goal down to beat the People’s favorite team of choice, 2-1. Precious Malama put Luyando Foundation Girls in the lead in the 43rd minute but Sibongile Moyo leveled matters three minutes later before Nowela Mwanza could seal the win in the 66th minute. Konkola Blades now have moved to 5th place with eleven points. At Nkoloma Stadium, Red Arrows and ZANACO Ladies played to a 1-1 draw. Regina Chanda leveled matters after Mary Mukupa had put the Airwomen in the lead.
