Zambia U20 National team coach Boyd Mulwanda is set to take over as head coach at ZPL Men’s National League side, Forest Rangers as head coach, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Mulwanda is set to leave his role as assistant to George ‘Chicken’ Lwandamina at Nchanga Rangers to take up the reins at Dola Hill.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Mulwanda said his good-byes to Nchanga Rangers yesterday after the draw against NAPSA Stars. An official announcement is expected from the club later this week.
The ZamFoot Crew has learned that Forest Rangers has sent its technical bench led by Mathews Ndhlovu on administrative leave.
Ndhlovu replaced Ian Bakala in March and has only been at the helm for six months but the club’s hierarchy believes it’s time for a change.
In 2007 the former Kabwe Warriors player guided Forest Rangers to the Coca-cola Cup championship.
Fole Malembe are currently 5th in the National League with 16 points after eight games, 3 points adrift of log leaders, Trident FC.
The Ndola based outfit were relegated from the MTN Super League last season after a less than impressive campaign.

ZESCO Ndola Girls forward Fridah Kabwe, Astrida Sikaala of Amazing Grace and Green Eagles’ Rachel Moono have made the cut for the week 7 ZamFoot team of the week.
The Eden University Women’s Super League entered week seven of action over the weekend and a number of interesting results were recorded.
From ZESCO Ndola Girls and Indeni Roses thrashing their opponents to Amazing Grace recording their first win of the season, it was an exciting weekend.
Copper Queens goalkeeper Ngambo Petronella Musole also impressed against Kamfinsa while Trident Queens captain Nandipha Mkombe has made the cut for the first time ever.
WEEK 7 BEST XI :
GK: Ngambo Petronella Musole ( Green Buffaloes)
The Copper Queens goalkeeper put in a great shift as Green Buffaloes narrowly beat Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles 1-0.
Musole pulled off some good saves including one big one when Namakau Mwangala’s set piece headed for the far post looked like it was going in.
She was solid and kept a clean sheet.
RCB:Esther Banda ( Green Buffaloes)
The Green Buffaloes defender was influential as Green Buffaloes edged Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles 1-0.
She was key for Buffaloes keeping a clean sheet against the Copperbelt based outfit.
CB: Nandipha Mkombe (Trident Queens)
The Trident Queens captain faced off against her former team and she was very composed at the back.
She thwarted every little attack Assembly tried to build up against the Conquerors to make sure they keep a clean sheet and record their second win of the season.
LCB; Memory Chileshe ( Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles)
Chileshe put in a good shift despite a 1-0 loss to Green Buffaloes. She was one of the stand out players for Kamfinsa who mounted a strong defense despite conceding a goal.
CM: Mary Mukupa (Red Arrows)
Mary Mukupa was lively and worked hard as Red Arrows played to a 1-1 draw with ZANACO Ladies at Nkoloma Stadium. Mukupa scored the Airwomen’s goal.
LCM: Harriet Matipa ( YASA Queens)
Matipa was influential for YASA Queens as the Kalingalinga based outfit ended Nkwazi Queens unbeaten run.
She scored a goal and won a penalty that was converted by Margaret Chisenga. The Young Copper Queens player was vital for YASA Queens.
RCM: Regina Chanda ( ZANACO Ladies)
The industrious midfielder was again in the thick of things for ZANACO Ladies who faced off with Red Arrows in a Lusaka derby.
Chanda scored the equalizer as the two teams settled for a point apiece. She worked hard both going forward and defensively.  A very good shift for the former Bauleni Sports United Academy ( BUSA) player.
AMF : Fridah Kabwe (ZESCO Ndola Girls)
Fridah came off the bench to score two goals as ZESCO Ndola Girls thrashed Nchanga Rangers Queens 6-0.
Kabwe was efficient and decisive off the bench continuing her  status as ‘super sub’ which she started from last season.
Kabwe has now made 35 goal contributions (18 goals and 17 assists ) since the start of last season mostly coming off the bench.
LW: Ngosa Chabwe (Indeni Roses)
The winger was again one of the key players for Indeni as they thumped Chipata Girls 6-1.
She was lively all afternoon and scored the final goal of the match and set up Grace Mulaisho for the fourth goal of the afternoon.
RW: Astrida Sikaala ( Amazing Grace)
The Amazing Grace forward scored a brace as the Kabwe based outfit recorded their first win of the season.
The two first half goals were important as they saw Amazing Grace move out of the relegation zone.
CF: Rachel Moono ( Green Eagles)
The Green Eagles forward set up Theresa Chewe for the opening goal of the match before scoring the second goal herself.
Moono, who recently received a national team call up, had a good game against the Elite Ladies and made her way into our team of the week.
Away from the goal and assist she was always a threat and worked hard all afternoon.
