Twalumba launches zipline, Siatwambo aims to make resort Lusaka ‘s major tourist center

TWALUMBA Resort, has unveiled its latest attraction, a zipline, in a move aimed at establishing itself as Lusaka’s leading tourism hub.
Yesterday, the resort was rejuvenated by guests clad in safari themed attires who could not miss the adventure and the opportunity to fly like superman, except this time with a rope.
Speaking at the launch of the exhilarating new zipline at Twalumba Resort, Great North Road Academy Group of Companies Chief Visionary Officer Rozious Siatwambo articulated a clear and ambitious vision for the destination to become Lusaka’s premier tourism center.
“We want to make Twalumba Resort more pleasurable for Zambians because we are trying to make this the major tourist center in Lusaka,” Dr Siatwambo announced.
“These are facilities that are only enjoyed by people who go to Livingstone, but there are people who can’t go to Livingstone. So, for those who can’t manage to go to Livingstone, you can have the thrill and the taste of the zipline here.”
He highlighted the diverse facilities available at the resort, including honeymoon suites, a hotel, a village, a sports complex, and the Alumbwe Falls, positioning the resort to cater to a wide range of needs and preferences.
Dr Siatwambo also emphasised the serene and peaceful environment of the resort, made it an ideal escape for relaxation and stress relief, even for those depressed.
The business guru further expressed pride that the Zip line was built by Zambians, engineered to perfection, underscoring local talent and expertise.
Dr Siatwambo was grateful to Zambians for their support saying throughout the 20 years of Great North Road Group of Companies’ lifespan thus far, Zambians have been supporting the institution, dispelling the notion that Zambia’s don’t support one another.
Meanwhile, the General Manager Patricia Chibinga expressed her excitement about the new addition to the resort’s facilities, highlighting the company’s commitment to continuous innovation and enhancing guest experiences.
“Innovation is what we believe in as a company, and we make it a point that at least every year or every few months, there is something new and exciting,” Chibinga stated.
Following the speeches, Dr Siatwambo and the wife, took the inaugural zipline rides, showcasing the adventure firsthand And demonstrating the couple goals of a united front before they went at it individually.
Brand influencers, such as Ba Matero (Francis Nundwe), Maza (Barnabas Kapolyo), IDC light (Winston Ngosa), Collins Zulu alias Bwana Njombe, Abel Chungu, among others were in attendance.
Those who summed up the courage to fly went for the adventure while those who could not, did not want to tempt their blood pressure.
