The FAZ North Western football community has become the fourth province to elect new leadership for the period 2025-29 with Brian Sakulen’ga elected as chairperson after defeating incumbent Arthur Kamulosu. Sakulen’ga who was youth chairperson polled 34 votes ahead of Kamulosu’s 23. In the youth position Zephaniah Mwanza went through unopposed while Dickson Mambwe sailed through as vice chairperson. The Electoral Conmittee will guide on by-elections for Women Representative and Committee Member polls after the initial candidates failed to meet the criteria for confirmation of candidacy. The next election will be on the Copperbelt on Wednesday in Kitwe. So far elections have been held in Southern, Lusaka, Central and North Western provinces.
